This skin condition is characterized by different types of lesions like seborrhea , comedones, papules, nodules and pustules. Scarring may take place. It has inflammatory and non-inflammatory types. The most important etiology is hormonal changes especially during puberty. Other reasons like steroid treatment are common too. Many treatments are used like topical benzoyl perosxide and erythromycin. Systemic treatments include vitamin A derivatives and antibiotics. | ||||||||||
