All form fields are required. About album: Known also as Vesicobullous Eczema, this type of eczema occurs on hands or feet. Can be acute or chronic / recurrent. Characterized by small itchy vesicles, followed by fissuring and lichenification. Incidence is 1/5000. This condition is not contagious , even though subject to infection due to fissuring and pruritus. The name comes from the term dyshidrosis which means "bad sweating" which was historically thought to be the etiology, which has not been proved. The most common etiologic factors are allergies, stress and seasonal changes. | ||||||||||
