These macular lesions are benign per se and do not cause any complications, but there are some criteria that should draw our attention to them as features of a disease like Neurofibromatosis, like having six or more lesions 5 mm in size before puberty or 15 mm after puberty , but some other criteria are required to make the diagnosis. Familial multiple lesions have been observed without any complications or diseases. | ||||||||||
